Want a macbook?
Macbooks are the most beautiful notebooks I have seen. If you want one because of its aesthetics, its power, its crisp display or ultraportability then don't worry about which one to buy because all the macbooks are better than the other in some way or the other, I am here to help you choose the best Macbook to suit your needs. First lets get this thing clear, From where are you going to purchase it? Because of the increase in dollar rupee rate, you wont get a significantly cheaper mac in US than you will get in India, but yes, if you but it from the US, then you will have much more customisation options available like a faster processor, more RAM and more storage. If you want a mac just for day to day use or for school, college or work and not for some serious use such as high level photo or video editing or for some powerful job or high level gaming then the Macbook Air is a perfect choice. It comes in two sizes, in 11 inch and in 13 inch. I will recommend the 13 inch model because a screen smaller than it is not suitable for a notebook but if you want it anyways than I will not say that it is bad. The base model has the latest 4th gen intel chip with 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of flash storage. If you pay more then you can get a faster processor, upto 8 GB of memory and 512 GB of flash storage. All the 13 inch models have 2 USB 3 ports and a card reader and have a mindblowing 12 hour battery life. The 11 inch models have 2 USB 3 ports and 9 hours of battery life. All the macs come with OSX Mavericks preinstalled and with a lot of other apple software. The Macbook Airs are famous for their ultra thin design and light weight. But the minimized design doesn't affects the performance. The Macbook Airs are very speedy. Thats all about Macbook airs, if you want complete information about them then please visit apple's website. Now lets come to the Macbook Pros. The Macbook Pro without retina display is obsolete so just not discuss about it. The Macbook Pros with retina display are a perfect match for you if you want some serious performance and graphics. Please wait for my next blog to know all abot Macbook Pro. Bye.

Which iPad to buy?
The 2.5 years old iPad 2 is available in the market for $399 and a year old iPad mini aswell for $299. So, is it a good choice to go with these? Clearly I will say NO. Both of them run on A5 whereas the latest iPad Air and iPad mini with retina display run on A7. That clearly makes the new iPads 4 times faster than the older iPads. Plus the new iPads have M7 coprocessor which takes motion sensors to a whole new level, especially beneficial for use in tracking runs and other fitness activities. The camera has a little bit improvement from the iPad mini but there is no comparison between the new cameras of the new iPads with the camera of the iPad 2. And also, the iPad 2 doesn't has lightning connector, which is being used in all iOS devices since 2012. Then lets talk about the display. Well I don't need to say anything on this, you all know the latest iPads have retina display, which means 4 times the number of pixels present in the displays of the earlier iPads. And yes of course the quality of the speakers have slight improvement and the dual mics now make audio recording way better. The design of the iPad air makes the iPad 2 obsolete. The great aluminum body of the iPad air is so sleek, strong, beautiful and much easier to hold. But there is no improvement in the design of the iPad mini, instead the newer one is slightly heavier and thicker but it is justified because of the retina deisplay and a bigger battery.
Now lets come to what to buy and what not to. So if you don't have any iPad now then don't even think about the older iPads. Spending a hundred dollars more can do wonders. If you have the iPad (1st gen) or the iPad 2 then you must switch to a newer iPad. If you wish to continue with the 9.7 inch display then pick up the iPad Air or else the iPad mini with a 7.9 inch retina display will suit your needs. If you have an iPad mini then you need to do a lot of thinking. I am myself using an iPad mini and right now writing this blog on it. It is a great device. Switching to the newer iPads will definately be very good but I will say that you should continue with this device if you are happy with it's performance or graphics. My work is to only suggest you, buying the iPad is your decision. For more information about the iPads please visit apple's website or if you have any question the please do ask me by sending an email or an iMessage to suyash7a@gmail.com.
